TyanPSC-600 SERIES PERSONAL SUPERCOMPUTER
Supports Intel's "Clovertown" processors and

TyanPSC, the OEM business unit of Tyan Computer Corporation, today announced the launch and
availability of the next generation in personal supercomputing: the TyanPSC-600 series using Intel Xeon 5300 "Clovertown" processors. Leveraging Tyan's experience with 2.5 million users, TyanPSC has designed a personal
supercomputing platform that combines the best computational horsepower*, the benefits of a personal or workgroup resource, and the streamlined user experience that engineers and scientists expect from a PC.

TyanPSC is demonstrating several TyanPSC-600 series systems this week at Supercomputing 2006 conference in Tampa in cooperation with its key partners in high performance computing (HPC). The
demonstrations showcases the novel design and systems integration TyanPSC achieves in cooperation with several leading HPC technology partners: Intel Corporation, Microsoft Corp., Mellanox Technologies Ltd., and
Wolfram Research Inc. The hardware combination of Tyan's cluster system design technologies, Intel's processor technologies and Mellanox's InfiniBand capabilities showcases the performance and efficiency the TyanPSC-600
systems achieves when running Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 and ISV applications, such as LSTC's LS-DYNA and Wolfram's gridMathematica.

Platform Partnerships

The TyanPSC-600 series is an innovative platform solution designed to solve the computational challenges individual
scientists and workgroups face in environments that traditionally do not have access to local supercomputing when they need it. The TyanPSC-600 series is purpose-built to be deployed and used like a PC, removing the
complexity and management that is usually expected from a system that provide 256 Gflops.

ISV partnerships, such as
ANSYS/Fluent and Wolfram Research augment TyanPSC's robust turnkey capabilities.
